How to Make a Radio Jingle (5s/10s/15s/30s Formats + Examples)
A good radio jingle is simple: clear words, strong rhythm, one message. Below is a practical 3-step process plus examples for each length. Follow along and generate audio using the Radio Jingle Generator.
Step 1 — Pick your jingle type
- Station ID (brand recall)
- Show promo (tune-in)
- Sponsor mention (credit)
- Radio ad (sell / drive action)
If you try to do all four at once, it won’t fit in 10 seconds. Pick one goal.
Step 2 — Write the script using the “Hook → Offer → CTA” pattern
Even for short jingles, the pattern helps: hook (attention), offer (value), CTA (action). For station IDs, the offer can be your tagline.
Step 3 — Produce it (voice + music + export)
Use a clear voice style, keep background music under the voice, and export a consistent MP3. You can do all of this quickly with Radio Jingle Generator.

Common mistakes (and fixes)
Too many details
Fix: one offer, one CTA. That’s it.
Hard-to-say words
Fix: write for speaking. Short sentences. Read it out loud.
Weak CTA
Fix: choose one action: Call, Visit, Text, Book.
